General T&C for Handling and Shipping Goods

1. Introduction Welcome aboard! At A ONE INDIA TRANSPORT CO. we’re excited to be your trusted partner in logistics. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for handling and shipping goods through our stellar services.

2. Goods Declaration Transparency is key! The consignor must declare the name, contents, condition, and value of the goods at the time of booking. This helps us ensure everything runs smoothly. The company shall not be liable for any delay, damage, pilferage, or loss of goods not properly packed or declared.

3. Complaints We aim for perfection, but if something goes awry, please note that complaints must be registered within 30 days after the booking of goods. We’re committed to resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.

4. Liability for Loss or Damage Rest assured, your goods are in capable hands. However, the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by fire, accident, strike, riot, civil commotion, theft, pilferage, or any other unforeseen event. Our commitment is to safety, but sometimes the unexpected happens.

5. Right to Refuse Transport We reserve the right to refuse the transport of goods without providing any reason. It’s our way of ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. We believe in quality over quantity.

6. Amendments The only constant is change! The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting on our website. Keeping things current and relevant is our priority.

7. Force Majeure The company is not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of war, or other major events. We’ll do everything in our power to keep things running smoothly, but some events are unpredictable.

8. Insurance We recommend that consignors insure their goods for protection against unforeseen circumstances. Our liability is limited, and insurance offers additional peace of mind.

9. Prohibited Items Certain items are prohibited from transport, including hazardous materials, illegal substances, and perishable goods without special arrangements. Check our guidelines for a comprehensive list.

10. Tracking and Updates Stay informed! You can track your shipment in real time through our website. Regular updates will be provided to keep you informed about the status of your goods.

11. Customer Support Our customer support team is available 10.30 AM TO 7.00 PM to assist you with any queries or concerns. We’re here to provide exceptional service at every step.

12. Return Policy In case of a return, the consignor is responsible for any additional shipping costs. Returns must be arranged according to our return policy.

13. Storage Fees If goods are stored beyond the agreed period, additional storage fees may apply.

14. Environmental Responsibility We’re committed to sustainable practices. We continually strive to minimize our environmental impact through efficient logistics and eco-friendly policies.
